Intern – Construction Management
Part Time

The construction management internship will offer the candidate the ability to develop an understanding of the electrical contracting industry through working with all levels of the organization to gain a full understanding of how the industry works. This can include working on daily activities with project coordinators, purchasing coordinators, project managers, field personnel, accounting professionals, IT administrators, and executive leaders.
Position Summary:
The purpose of a construction management intern is to learn our processes and systems by assisting with and/or performing tasks and projects at all levels of the organization.
Basic Duties:
- Cross-train through departments to learn hands-on skills
- Document and report suggested changes
- Utilize your experience and education to work with leadership on ways to improve processes
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend cost savings opportunities
- Create and maintain project files in accordance with company processes
- Special projects (when available)
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be seeking a graduate degree Business Administration, Business Management, Construction Management, or similar field
- Working experience with Office365
- Procore experience is helpful but not required
- Leadership, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
